Planning Committee Mission Statement
The planning committee for the Tuberculosis Conference endeavours to present a quality learning experience for health professionals
working in tuberculosis management and control.  The Conference is held every 2 years.

Conference Objectives:
As a result of participation in the conference, delegates will:

• Understand current trends in and implications of the demographics and epidemiology of Tuberculosis in the Prairie Provinces, in Canada and around the world.
• Understand the mechanisms behind the greatest threats to tuberculosis control in the future
  
• Be aware of new approaches and emerging technology aiding in the diagnosis, management and treatment of tuberculosis
• Identify strategies to improve prevention programs, service delivery and clinical practice in communities
  
• Engage in active dialogue with expert researchers and clinicians in the field of tuberculosis
